What costs do we incur?
Affiniti incurs all web design and web media costs. All you pay for are
the qualified targeted consumer sales enquiries that we generate for
you.
How are the leads delivered?
An email is sent to you (you nominate an email address) as each enquiry
is registered at the site.
How do we pay for leads?
In the early stages of a business relationship we are likely to request
an upfront payment to credit a lead generation account. This is a client
account quite separate from our business account. For leads to continue
flowing there is a requirement for this lead generation account to be
maintained in credit. As our business relationship develops we are
prepared to consider moving to a credit account (subject to the usual
checks). We will invoice you weekly for leads generated for you the
previous week.
How much will each lead cost?
All campaigns are custom designed so generalising is difficult. But the
important factors in setting the price will include media costs, the
degree of lead qualification performed, and the level of web site
maintenance necessary. Bear in mind that these "leads" are hot and
highly motivated enquiries - the chance of conversion is very high. You
should look at our lead prices in the context of two things: 1) The
"lifetime value of a client", 2) "the cost per client
acquisition" from your other sources of enquiries.
What about the
quality of the leads?
All leads will be pre-qualified through the use of a detailed
registration form (inc. mandatory fields) designed in co-operation with
yourselves. Typically we find that when consumers are keen to obtain
further/product service information they are very happy to answer
detailed questions. To ensure that leads are high quality not only will
they be pre-qualified as described but also we will endeavour to remove
all duplicates and clearly false leads on a daily basis before they are
sent to you. However, if we fail to do this you may return the offending
lead to us within 24 hours and we will replace it free of charge.
What about the quantity of leads?
The power of the internet means that people use it 24 hours a day, 7
days a week. Typically we will therefore send you as many qualified
leads as are generated by the campaigns. We are happy to discuss the
delivery of a fixed number of leads (subject to a minimum contract
value), but it is not possible to regulate the rate at which leads are
generated. The model works best for businesses that do not have a
significant limit to the volume of sales leads they can process.
How do I know I will get value for money from these leads?
The best way for both parties to answer this question is to enter into
an initial contract for a fixed number of leads at a fixed price that
would run for a period of 3 months or so. This allows both parties to
analyse critical variables such as advertising conversion rates, web
site registration rates, enquiry conversion rates etc. And look at the
mutual profitability of the relationship. After the initial contract the
terms can be discussed to ensure a viable long term relationship is
shaped.
What about the geographic spread of leads ?
The web tends to be country specific and as such leads will be generated
for the whole of the UK. You need to be comfortable that your business
can service leads for the whole or a large sub region of the UK. Due to
the limits of web technology anything less than this cannot be managed
economically (unless you are happy to buy all leads and sell those
outside your region to your chosen network). The technology is changing
all the time and during 2004 it will become possible to focus media
campaigns at a regional/county/post code/city level. If you would like
